In alignment with our founding charter and NAF designation 93.11Z, ASSOCIATION VACANCES 93 designs and operates structured recreational interventions that dismantle the financial, geographical, and psychological barriers preventing underserved youth from participating in regular physical training and restorative holiday expeditions.
All four core field modules detailed below are conducted without private profit motives. Funded through public departmental subsidies, municipal partnerships, and voluntary dues, these modules guarantee that every enrolled child receives certified pedagogical coaching, personal safety gear, and complete nutritional support during all activities. All membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions.
Our operational teams liaise directly with municipal sports offices (Directions Municipales des Sports), departmental social cohesion delegations, and local school principals. This structured coordination prevents administrative overlap and directs civic resources to the children and teenagers who need them most urgently.
NAF 93.11Z Multi-Sport Facilities & Physical Training
Through official conventions with municipal city halls and school districts, our association animates municipal sports halls, outdoor athletics tracks, and communal gymnasiums during after-school hours and weekends. Professional educators lead structured sessions in team sports (basketball, soccer, handball), track and field disciplines, gymnastics, and non-violent martial arts.
Our curriculum develops foundational cardiovascular health, motor agility, and social sportsmanship. Participants learn emotional self-regulation, fair-play ethics, and team cooperation, transforming sports into a catalyst for academic persistence and self-confidence.
Sessions are tailored to specific developmental stages: children aged 6 to 10 focus on fundamental motor coordination, balance, and spatial awareness through playful team relays. Adolescents aged 11 to 17 participate in tactical team strategies, aerobic conditioning, and peer referee training, cultivating physical competence alongside emotional maturity.

Open to youth aged 6 to 17 residing in Seine-Saint-Denis. Registration is 100% free of charge under our public utility charter.
Residential Nature Camps & Mountain Immersion
Our residential holiday camps transport youth out of concrete urban environments and into natural sanctuaries in the Alps, Massif Central, and Brittany coast. Led by state-certified directors and experienced camp counselors (BAFA/BAFD), these immersive stays feature hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, stargazing, and nature conservation workshops.
Living communally away from home nurtures essential personal autonomy. Campers participate in daily camp chores, shared meal preparations, democratic evening councils, and cooperative games, forming lasting friendships across municipal boundaries.
For many participants, the holiday camp represents their first separation from immediate family. Our animators maintain a warm, nurturing atmosphere with structured bedtime routines, daily letter-writing hours, and regular telephone check-ins for parents, ensuring complete emotional security throughout the expedition.

Junior Counselor & Civic Leadership Program
Our association transforms young sports beneficiaries into the community educators of tomorrow. Through our Junior Leadership track, older teenagers and university students receive fully subsidized preparation for the BAFA (Brevet d'Aptitude aux Fonctions d'Animateur) and PSC1 first-aid certifications.
Under the supervision of senior physical educators, trainees lead warm-up exercises, organize tournament brackets, and manage logistical equipment. This pathway imparts invaluable communicative, organizational, and crisis-management competencies recognized by higher education institutions and employers.
Over 80% of our junior leaders successfully pass their formal BAFA examinations on their first attempt, creating a self-sustaining cycle of civic mentorship where youth who grew up in Seine-Saint-Denis reinvest their energy into their own neighborhoods.
Family Solidarity & Intergenerational Health Days

Parents and children participate together in relay walks, non-competitive badminton, gentle gymnastics, and interactive nutritional literacy workshops.
These gatherings break urban domestic isolation, encourage healthy lifestyle habits, and create inter-family support networks across multicultural neighborhoods in Seine-Saint-Denis. Local pediatricians and dietitians provide free, informal consultations on child nutrition, sleep hygiene, and managing recreational screen time.
